Our Mission / Our Vision
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide access to quality and affordable dental care. We believe that oral healthcare is a vital component to overall health. It is our focus to help U.S. veterans, victims of abuse and addiction, and vulnerable individuals who experience barriers to dental care that they desperately need.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to remove barriers and limitations preventing individuals from receiving the essential dental treatment they need to achieve quality overall health. We seek to strengthen our community by opening doors to dental care that will help us transform the lives of our patients.
Important
The Challenge:
High-Quality Care is Costly – But So Is Delayed Dental Work

Those suffering from painful or disfiguring dental conditions suffer doubly when they must delay treatment because they cannot afford it.
Included are the less fortunate and the underserved.
Also included are working men and women who cannot afford the treatments they need such as implants that are necessary for their dental health. Still others struggle to pay for basic dental maintenance, which can prevent conditions from deteriorating and requiring more extensive treatment later.
These people lose confidence in their smile, which can impact their entire life, from relationships to business.

Give Everyone Their Smile Back…
New Horizon Dental Center and New Horizon Surgical Center work in tandem to provide advanced dental care to the community. They are sister nonprofits under the New Horizon Institute umbrella that Dr. Justin Moody founded to help those who cannot afford private practice fees.

New Horizon Dental Center offers a low-cost clinic at a state-of-the-art dental facility.

We provide high-quality, comprehensive dental care for those who cannot afford private practice fees.

Helpful Information for our Patients
How can you afford to provide dentistry at such reasonable prices?
We partner with a dental continuing education team called Implant Pathway and through them US-trained and licensed dentists visit our clinic to provide surgical treatment to our patients free of charge. It’s a win-win! The dentist gets excellent training so they can take back new skills to help treat the patients in their home town, and our patients get top quality surgical care at no cost to them! Our patients only have to pay for the restoration – typically a dental crown or dentures.
Is this a dental school?
No, this is a non-profit staffed by fully licensed dentists. We host 4 dental residents a year that have graduated dental school but wish to have more experience treating patients with dental implants and other general dentistry, and also host visiting doctors who are pursuing more education for their professional careers. While a major reason we can offer such great care are such great prices is by combining it with continuing dental education, all of our providers are licensed dentists, not students.
Do you offer IV sedation for the surgeries?
Unfortunately due to the size of our clinic and the number of patients we treat we have limited ability to put our patients to sleep. When you come in for a consult we can discuss our techniques for helping you have the most comfortable experience you can while undergoing treatment. Limited IV sedation appointments may be available for an additional fee.
Do you offer "all-on-four' or 'teeth-in-a-day'?
As a non-profit clinic, our goal is to treat our large group of patients efficiently and effectively to remove dental infections and restore our patients ability to smile and eat confidently and comfortably. Due to our mandate of helping as many deserving patients in our community as possible for as reasonable a cost as possible we can not offer the popular ‘teeth in a day’ solutions at this time due to cost and time constraints.
Do dental implants last forever?
While dental implants are the height of dental technology and advanced care, nothing in the mouth truly lasts forever. Dental implants require proper home care similar to our natural teeth, and normal dental check ups to maintain and evaluate the health of dental implants are required. Sometimes dental implants require revision surgeries, similar to an orthopedic joint replacement, but they do tend to last longer than natural teeth, especially teeth that have had numerous dental procedures already performed.
